    Description:

We are looking forward to welcoming you to a new venue for our Come and Sing: The Lantern Hall in the Bristol Beacon.
This is an opportunity to join Bristol Choral Society and massed choir singing Haydn's Missa in angustiis (Mass for troubled times) Commonly known as the "Nelson Mass" it is arguably one of his greatest compositions. Written in 1798 when his world was in turmoil, it remains highly relevant today. Despite the foreboding the prevailing mood of the Nelson Mass is of jubilation and this is bound to be a focus of our Musical Director Hilary Campbell.

BCS will be performing this fully in the Beacon Hall in March 2027 (along with Mozart Requiem) so this is also an opportunity to see if you would like to join us!
