I Saw Three Ships by Pamela Slatter was the winning carol in the Mary Otty Carol Competition which was run by Bristol Choral Society in December 2020.
Over 70 entries were shortlisted down to 5 which were then individually recorded by nearly 90 members of Bristol Choral Society, edited together for our virtual competition and judged by a distinguished panel.
Taken from our first recording of works for choir, piano and percussion with classical label Delphian entitled The Big Picture and featuring works by Cecilia McDowall, Bob Chilcott and Judith Weir.
Recording took place January 2020 and the CD was released in September 2020. The CD is available to buy in our shop.
